A CARPOOLING NETWORK IN SWITZERLAND AND THE BORDER REGION

Employees can avail of a huge network of publicly-accessible carpool points within Switzerland and across the border. These carpool points can also be used and Biogen employees can avail of them free of charge for planning commuter trips or trips for private purposes.

Biogen is absolutely convinced that sustainability goes hand-in-hand with protecting the environment and our health. That’s why Biogen is committed to making a real contribution toward this important foundation with its initiative “Healthy Climate, Healthy Lives.”

Within this context, EHS and GreenTeam, Biogen’s sustainability initiative, came up with the idea of offering carpooling internally at Biogen Solothurn. The goal was to make it possible for employees to use this environmentally-friendly mode of transportation throughout Switzerland and beyond by means of a digital platform. In this way, employees can help protect the environment and build a sustainable future to and from work, too.
